The
inspiration for my work is close to home. Subjects I
find interesting and compelling to observe are conveyed in
a simple, stylized form; meticulously embellished with mosaics.
My desire is to create work that uplifts the spirit.
My most recent work involves the use of stained glass and
recycled glass. I enjoy the transparent qualities of the glass
and using the materials in ways not originally intended.
As I continue to explore these media, I am amazed by the endless
possibilities. I am awed by the emerging personality
of each piece and its own personal story that develops as
it does. I find each piece transports me to a place
of joy.
